Working for a living.

It's absolutely great to earn money from ideas that come out of your head!

I am so glad to be right here, right now. When you are working in your field of expertise, the work is more joy than pain, more pleasure than chore. At this age, I'm experimenting and exploring and finding me, and I don't have to leave my own home town to do it!

Although the body was in great shape, I wouldn't return to my twenties and the accompanying confusion for all the money in the world! Age does have its benefits - they are wisdom, education, experience, and focus - usually. OK, I lied about the focus! I'm as mentally hyper as ever with art, music, writing, marketing, web stuff, the husband, the house, the children, the me.

I'm pretty sure that I won't be going into teaching. I need to be able to flit about sampling this thing and that, growing and evolving (hate that word), relating to this person and that one. I'm an AQUARIOUS, and I'm not supposed to believe in that crap, but I fit the profile to a T! I'm a dreamer, an adventurer, and confinement suffocates me, chokes the life right out of me! I wonder how old the children need to be before I pull them out of school and we all take off for Europe. I wonder if they have RVs in Europe? Let's see, a year or two in Europe, then Russia, down through the Middle East with a long stay in Jerusalem, then Egypt - WOW - I'd love to SAFELY visit Egypt. I want to explore the pyramids! I want to see the Nile at sunset. I want to walk on the soil the pharoahs once trod.

Next, down into Africa to meet the ancient tribes, visit the lakes, the mountains, see the wild animals roaming free on the plains that I've only ever seen behind fences at zoos.

Then, maybe Australia and New Zealand for a year or two. Then India, China, and Japan. A couple of years in the South Pacific on a sparsely populated island, sunning, swimming, snorkeling, sailing about living in a warm, sky blue world with cool aqua-clear water all around.

Next - Alaska. Spend a couple of years studying the pods of whales that always return to those cold waters. Back through the States - Montana - just the summer because I'm a WUSS. Then back to my beloved South.

Lynard Skynard said it best:
"Sweet Home, Alabama."
