Days and Nights

1st day, very tired, almost no voice left . . .

OK, drink water all day long. When you talk incessantly from 7.55am until 1:20pm, it's a good idea to stay hydrated with H2O. Good tip (received at 1:21pm).

GREAT day, though, and I'm very excited. The children were great, we interacted well together. However, I heard one student leaving tell another student coming in, "she's really COOL, you're going to like her!!" I'm totally nervous that I'm a pushover!

Tomorrow I tighten up and make sure they know who's TEACH!

I had one bathroom break and about 10 minutes for lunch up until 1:20pm. I think teachers would have to be VERY motivated to become fat, and I'm seeing most of them are!

I've eaten very sensibly, I've drunk water, and I've exercised every day!! I should see some significant progress in two weeks!

WOW! Then as soon as school was out, I hop in the car and put in the handsfree gadget and begin making calls. I check on babies, big kids, and hubby and make sure they're good. Then I call clients and head to my 3:30pm meeting downtown. I had a GREAT time with the "guys" at JRag. They are fabulous and always make me feel like I'm a part of their crew.

At 5:30 I began fighting rush hour traffic to get home to the kiddos. When I arrived home to screams of delight and big lovvy hugs, I learn that N has lost his first tooth!! It was only a little loose, but this boy wanted his DOLLAR and yanked that puppy right out!!!! I'm so proud of him!

J had a bad headache at school today and the schoolnurse had called me to report in, but I couldn't even check messages until 3pm. We're sending in a note about notification procedures tomorrow. Dad could've at least taken her some tylenol! Poor baby!

Well, I must get myself together for tomorrow - have an hour and a half's worth of stuff to do for my classes. So, goodnight all!
