The sore throat is gone!!

Praise God for a great immune system! I'm almost 100% today! Rest, water, and zinc losenges - my magic cure. I'm sure the broth-drinking helped, too.

I'm happier about Callie's Life - the serial story I'm writing. I'm going to like this girl pretty soon. She's in "my town" now, and I'll have her on many adventures there. She's already seen this cross-dressing guy that I saw several times in my 8 years in Atlanta. The first time I saw him was at the Renaissance Festival and he was dressed as I described in the story! White pants and tank top, full length satin red cape, a staff to walk with, platinum hair ( a la Dennis Rodman), and a little white dog he carried close to his chest.

For this little girl from Verbena, Alabama, that was a sight for sore eyes! Yet, I was intrigued. I have always been drawn to the more unusual people in the crowds. At college, I majored in business - very practical, but I hung out with the theatre majors. I was an artsy wannabe, and still am!! Although now, I can describe myself as artsy and have no doubts!

Tonight, we watched Hulk on dvd. One word review . . . . yawn. (that was it.)

I started watching Dr. Zhivago on PBS last night, but it's so depressing, I had to make a change. I've never seen that movie and I've never read the book. The characters are intrigueing, but life's just to dramatic to watch drama.

I know I'm all over the place with the blog tonight, but that's how my day has been and here I am! Have a good evening ya'll! I think I'll go check in on Callie's Life.
