It was a very moody day for me. It was gorgeous outside and I tried so hard to stay out in it, but things kept forcing me inside and EVERYONE was on my last nerve!

Yes, I got my Prozac refilled today. No, I didn't take yesteday's dose. I should NOT be this moody after one missed dose, it's only 10mg for cryin' out loud! Oh, yes, and I'm due to start next Tuesday. Maybe that's it. I don't know. I just know that for no reason at all, I was ready to chew somebody a new a**hole all day long!!

However, at the end of today, there was a fall festival at the elementary school! We had so much fun. The children jumped around in those hot air inflated thingy's, slid down a giant hot air sliding thingy, and batted each other with inflated American Gladiator looking equipment. It was GREAT!

We had pizza by the slice, grilled hot dogs (I put ketchup and kraut on mine), popcorn, ice cream, etc. etc. The most successful "booth" for the event was the dunking booth. A series of teachers agreed to sit there and get dipped multiple times as the temperature dropped into the forties! They are such good sports - CRAZY, but good sports. There was a silent auction for these large terra cotta pots that each glass painted as a group project. They were selling for $20 minimum, most were at $50, and one was up to $126 when I left. With all classes combined, that one auction will raise over $1000!!!! Can you believe that?

Well, big fun for me. I got to see SO many folks and talk to them and get to know them a bit. The children ran themselves completely ragged and were basically crawling to bed at 8pm. Big day. For me, too.
