Days and Nights

I love FRIDAY!!!

I just LOVE Fridays!! It's always special because the children always have pizza and camp out night on Friday. This means they eat pizza (usually frozen, but sometimes from Pizza Rut or Dominononos), and put their sleeping bags on the floor of the girls' bedroom and watch movies till 10pm. They always continue to "party" after lights out, but they are REALLY good about behaving. So, even though they don't have guests or do anything "special" it's like they get to have a slumber party! Soon, baby will be old enough to join them!

Tonight was extra special because we did the costume thing and walked around our neighborhood doing "Trick or Treat" and filling bags with candy. Hubby and I kept calling it "loot," and the kids thought that was so funny! We had 7.5year old Kim Possible, 6year old Zorro, 3.5 year old Tinkerbell, and 22 month old really cute baby who doesn't need to dress up. We had a blast.

Then we went to a local church carnival things where they had bouncey slides and bouncing things again, free hot dogs (with kraut again - OMG my stomach's killing me!), and lots and lots of friends. By 8:30 PM I had two older kids revelling in their freedom, a 1 year old boogie-in' her TAIL off to black gospel music, and a 3.5 year old screaming fit-pitcher (tired.) So we packed up and drove home and removed face paint with baby oil.

Here I am. Communicating with you all again. YEAH!! I love this medium!

I shared about blogging with a few people today and they are intrigued. They were a little freaked about my use of the GD word in a very early post, but I explained that this is the place where I get it out!! That little rant is no longer bouncing around in my head depositing seeds of negativity, it is out and gone!!! That's the beauty of journaling, and I'm not ashamed of any of it!
